In a recent study published in the Journal of Technology in Behavioral Science, we analysed information from 3,087 users of Modern Health during the COVID-19 epidemic. Before and after treatment, the WHO-5 was used to evaluate overall health and depression symptoms. The WHO-5 is a five-item, unidimensional assessment of psychological well-being that includes statements like “I have felt upbeat and upbeat” and “I have felt tranquil and relaxed.” It asks participants about their mental well-being over the last two weeks. On a six-point scale, answers range from 0 (“At no time”) to 5 (“All the time”). When scores are added up and multiplied by 4, a range of 0-100 is produced.
